Now for some news on the Pécs Conference...

The Annual Conference in Pécs, Hungary – Regional Responses and Global Shifts: Actors, Institutions and Organisations, 24th – 26th May 2010 is now closed to new bookings.

David Bailey, RSA Chair says, “The Association is keen to maintain the high reputation of its events in terms of the coherence and quality of the intellectual programme and also in terms of the venues for both academic and social events. The conference team have closed the conference to new bookings because of the very high number of paid-up registrations.”

Sally Hardy, Chief Executive notes, “The Pécs conference is the largest in our history and is set in the Capital of Culture for 2010. We are delighted with the response from the community to the call for papers and expect attendees from more than 50 countries from around the world. We are looking forward to a very lively and stimulating event with plenty of opportunity for networking.”
