Some recent news from Inforegio...

Brandenburg, Wales and Lithuania have been recognised as 'regions of excellence' within the EU in relation to their approach to sustainable, smart and inclusive growth. These awards were presented as part of the Regiostars Awards programme. I could say more, but it's probably better if you just watch the video (screenshot below).


All of this may make you wonder about the definition of a 'region', but of course that is open to interpretation! What each of these 'regions' have in common (apart from winning this award) is populations of between 2.5 (Brandenburg) to 3.2 million (Lithuania).

Congratulations to Brandenburg, Wales and Lithuania.
