Not everybody can publish in Regional Studies at the early stages of their career. However, it is still important to be able to publish your work and have it read more widely so that's part of the reason the RSA publishes Regional Insights, which is full of fresh ideas from emerging young scholars. The current call for papers is available here but whether or not you make the deadline for this issue if you're an early career scholar (e.g. doing a PhD or within 5 years post-PhD) then you should consider submitting.

Regional Insights is put together by a superstar editorial team and is a very friendly publication. You will not receive any nasty rejection letters! Please do consider submitting if you are at an early stage of your career.
